Chris Stallion & myself Patski Love just celebrated Juicy 7 Year Anniversary with legendary guests Kool DJ Red Alert and DJ Sammy B from the Jungle Brothers, and with that comes Juicy Mixtape Vol. 14 - 7 Year Anniversary Edition presented by our good friends Beats By Dr. Dre.

Compared to Volume 13 which had a lot of classic summer jams on it, this tape is more of the regular Juicy mixup; new jams, classic rap, sprinkled with soul and quality club music! Our Norwegian friends B.A.W.S crew laced us exclusively with their take on Jay and Kanye; "Ninjas In Paris" and we got remixes and edits from our favorites DJ Benzi, Freqnik & WDRE, Ted Smooth, DJ Rob Dinero, Prince Of Ballard, DJ Ayres, SlothBoogie, Aylen, Gant-Man and off course a couple of our own edits!

We had to include music from our two favorite EPs right now Fifteenth and Kutcorners and we also found out after CD's were in production that "Need Time" from Norwegian artist Name was a song that had been pulled back, so pretty a pretty exclusive cut there. As usual we got funny shouts from our artist- and DJ buddies like Cosmo Baker, Aloe Blacc, DJ Ross One, Wristpect, Freddie Gibbs, Tensnake, Sammy Bananas, Thee Mike B, Donae'o, Xaphoon Jones, U-Tern, Trae Tha Truth, DJ JayCeeOh, DJ Evil One, J Drum, DJ Sabo, Stretch Armstrong, J. Cole, DJ Turbulence and last but not least the "real famous" and legendary DJ Harvey!

On August 6th we were lucky enough to have the very talented Wristpect from Canada as our special guest DJ at Juicy, and OMFG what a night it was and WHAT A SET he delivered!!

"In August 2011 I completed my second European Tour with stops in Belgium, Norway, Amsterdam, Zurich, and London. This is the live 3 hour and 30 minute recording from the world famous CLUB JUICY party in Oslo, Norway - brought to you by Patski Love & Chris Stallion. My man Patski Love was rocking the mic for me, but the audio didn't capture it as he was plugged into another mixer.. This is a raw set, where I played whatever I wanted to..

Halfway through the night, shit got wild and someone spilled their beer all over the turntables and mixer - you'll hear the music completely cut out for a bit. After that, I was pretty much on one turntable but we made it work. This was a really fun and refreshing night to play and I must say that the people of Oslo know their music and know how to party and have a great time.. The vibe in there was amazing. Girls were requesting AZ records and singing along every word to Jay-Z's "Can I Live".. Yeah, it felt like I was in the twilight zone (but in a good way..)

Thank you again to Patski & Chris and the entire JUICY crew. You guys have truly built an amazing night with a great crowd who enjoys and appreciates MUSIC of all genres. I cannot wait to be back."

Uuugh!!!

Since I (Patski Love) received "The Funural" promo 12 inch from Elektra Records back in 1999 I've been the biggest fan of Clipse and especially Terrar, later known as Pusha T! Now that Pusha finally is performing at Juicy (Blaa Thursday September 29th - flyer attached) I felt I had no other choice than to whip and chop up my "Best Of Pusha T - Chrologically" containing Clipse, Re-Up Gang and his greatest features and freestyles. Not really calling it a mixtape as I find it more like a collection and with it being in chronological order this prioritized more than find the songs that mixed the best togehter.

However I hope you will enjoy this and if you're in Oslo on Thursday September 29th I hope to see your for Pusha T live in concert at Blaa!!
